Benefits Open Enrollment runs April 28-May 12

What is Open Enrollment?

For eligible employees, Open Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to review and update your benefits, enroll in benefits, and add/remove eligible dependents from coverage. Benefits you elect during enrollment will be in effect for the next plan year (July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026), unless you experience a qualifying life event (i.e. marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, etc.).

If you don’t make changes during this time, your current benefits will automatically roll over to the next plan year. However, we recommend logging in to review your benefits and ensure everything, including beneficiaries, is up to date.

Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DSFSA) contributions must be re-elected during Open Enrollment each year if you wish to participate in these accounts for the upcoming plan year.

We are committed to providing you and your family a comprehensive, affordable benefits program. We are proud to announce that your commitment to good health is paying off. For the 2025-2026 plan year, there are no plan design changes and only slight premium increases in our Medical plan. Dental and Vision rates are the same.

Adding Dependents to Coverage

If you are adding dependents to your coverage, you must provide documentation to Human Resources Benefits. Visit Dependent Benefits Eligibility to see the requirements. Please email all required documents to benefits@csuohio.edu by Monday, June 30, 2025.

FREE On-Campus Health and Wellness Services

Employees enrolled in any CSU medical plan can receive routine office visit care at no out-of-pocket cost.

  • No deductible or copayment for care or services from CSU On-Campus Health and Wellness Services clinical staff.
  • Many generic prescription medications available for a $5 copay.

Where: On-Campus Health and Wellness Services in College of Health building (CH/IM), Room 205 at 2112 Euclid Avenue.

Appointments: Visits by appointment. Same day appointments may be available. Call 440.592.1900 to schedule.

Dependents of faculty and staff are NOT eligible for care from CSU Health & Wellness Services.

How to Enroll

Access the myCSU page and then:

  • Select “Employee Self-Service” under “For Faculty & Staff”
  • Select “myProfile” and log in
  • Click “Benefits Details”
  • Click “myBenefits Enrollment”
